Research Projects Officer

Following a Magister’s degree in History of Art, Sociology, and Modern German Literature and Media, I worked for several years with rare books, with a focus on artists’ and children’s books, at Ketterer Kunst Hamburg. I then managed a gallery for contemporary art in Berlin before joining VARI in 2019.

What I enjoy most in my position as Research Projects Officer – apart from facilitating a wide range of research projects and events and collaborating with colleagues, researchers, and artists– is that there is always something new to discover and learn! I am particularly interested in the intersection of books/literature and art, writing about art, as well as provenance research and legal aspects.
